Zendaya

INTRODUCTION

Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman was born the 1st of September 1996 in Oakland, California. This 25 year old teenager is famous for singing and dancing but especially for acting.

EARLY LIFE

Zendaya grew up in an acting family since her mother was a stage manager at the california Shakespeare Theatre. She went at the Oakland school of Arts and there she landed a number of roles in local theatrical productions. Her passion was dancing too infact she frequented the Future Shock Oakland dance group for several years and studied hula dancing at the Academy of Hawaiian Arts. Zendaya’s parents are Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu Coleman. Her father is African-American, while her mother has German and Scottish ancestry. She has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Her first experience as an actress was making the television series “Shake it Up” premiered in 2010.
